New post, babyyyyyyyy. Unlike all those dorks in denial that social media is still the best approach, I'm just sticking to twitter until it's just rubble-- or at least until all the japanese artist I love migrate to somewhere else.
Otherwise.. yeah! I think I can finally say I'm taking up residence here.

It's a bit odd to look back and think how Newgrounds has always been there in my time using the internet. I was aware as it got big, and when really big animations or flash games came out on/through it, not to mention a dozen or two notable creative types that are still doing amazing things, whos origins are still easy to trace back to here.
The odd bit is that I never really embraced Newgrounds. I was close with 4chan for a while, but after that.. just sort-of floated freely. It always seemed like the Alt-Rock or or a more punk, cool side of Grunge, and I'm more prog or classic. Just didn't feel like I would've ever fit. But now that we're all older, it's like "Okay, there's tons of good stuff they've had for sure, I just never felt cool enough to be a part of it."
This sounds an awful lot like an apology for not being on here. Maybe it is? To myself? Eh!
Either way, I hope Newgrounds continues to be a presence on the internet. It's a bastion of honesty and creativity that maintains its identity in a time where it's often given away just to be swipe-friendly. And maybe I can try to be cool enough to earn a presence on it.
